Scaffolding rescue at 1 World Trade Center
Two trapped window washers dangled 69 floors above lower Manhattan on a scarily-tilted scaffold at 1 World Trade Center before a heroic sky-high rescue on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 in New York, N.Y. The two men were stuck on the shaky scaffolding for about 90 minutes before the rescuers cut out a window in the new skyscraper to allow the pair inside.
